Membership classes are offered to give you a chance to hear first-hand from Pastor Kerry the vision and values of Woodlands Church.
Relationship Class - build your faith
Learn to build your faith in 3 Vital Relationships: intimacy with God, community with believers, and influence with others. Spiritual development in these relationships is a process. There are no quick-fix formulas. We experience transformation as we follow Christ, but how do you do that? What does that look like for you?
Relationship Class will explain how you can engage in that process. You will discover what it really means to be a disciple and learn how to develop habits that will help you grow in your faith – habits like scripture meditation and application, how to study the Bible on your own and how to pray. You will learn the importance and benefits of giving back to God, how to connect with others in authentic community and how to impact others in the community and around the world.
Whether you are a brand new believer or have been a Christian for years, this class is for you.
Leadership Class - be the message
Leadership class helps you "be the message" and gives you insight on how God can use you where you are, where you work or go to school. You will gain a new perspective about God's interest in your neighborhood and places around the world. You will learn what the Bible teaches about the primary mission of Christ, and how each of us is invited to participate once we receive Him as Savior and Lord. By the end of the class, you will be familiar with the local, national, and global projects, partnerships and initiatives we are working on and together how we can make a difference together.
This new Leadership Class is a prerequisite for those planning to journey with Woodlands Church on a missions trip. Lunch is provided, and children's programs are offered for birth through 6th grade.
